Footwear Fortunes

I think that if my style had to be summed up through a footwear look, Mary Janes and frilly socks would have it down to a tee. I get told a lot that florals, frills and collars are all I'm ever seen in, but I don't think you can have too much of a good thing... the china doll look is perfect for me (and especially works well if you're on the short side).

I found these t-bars in the Asos sale a couple of months ago. They dig in a bit, but with socks like this and a pretty dress I think they're perfect for strolling to the beer garden on summer evenings like tonight.

OOTD: Chillin' Killin'

I have a day off today with absolutely no plans! I always get a bit restless when I have nothing to do and I spent yesterday evening texting round friends to see if anyone was free to have a nice day, but no-one wanted to be my friend :(((

This afternoon will be spent vegging, nail painting and making some lasagne!! (This is what life becomes when you reach 21, apparantly).

Today I'm wearing new jeans which I bought at Topshop last week. I think Topshop will always be my go-to jeans place - they fit perfectly, last forever, and with student discount they only come to £35 which I don't think is too shabby a price tag. My shirt is one of my fave charity shop finds!

Hope you all have a grand old day!! XX

Room Tour

Hooray!! This post has been on my waiting list for ages now - over the last few months, I've been sorting out my bedroom at home and a couple of weeks ago I almost cried with joy at it actually being complete!!

It took a long time and more than I care to admit of my income for this year has gone on buying precious little pieces of decor to make it perfect. I absolutely love it though, and I'm glad that all that time and effort paid off.

Big up to my mum and dad who wallpapered it while I was away in Lourdes! They also bought the bed and new carpet, which I was very grateful for.

This is going to be very photo-heavy and in respect of not wanting to crash Blogger I'm not going to caption the images, but if anyone would like to know where specific items are from, I would love to let you know in the comments! A lot of pieces are from charity shops (I love a bit of bric-a-brac) and bargain shops, so a lot of them can be bought on a budget :)

Here come the pics!!

Phewwww!! If you got to here and looked at every picture, I applaud you! I hope you like my bedroom as much as I do!

Thanks so much for reading! XX

Day in my fave plave, Stratford ♥

Yesterday was perfect! The sun was shining and I spent the day with my best friends in Stratford-upon-Avon, which is my favourite place. We all lived there together two years ago (although it seems like the other day still) for our gap year (in youth work) which was just the best best time ever. It took a loooong time to get over the job, the people, and living in a perfect place, but now when I go back I LOVE reliving the memories rather than longing to be still living it.

If you haven't been to Stratford, GO! It is picture perfect and laden with culture (fun fact - I used to live on the same road that W-Shakez is buried - feels so British!)

Also spent some unnecessary money on these pretty pieces! Going to really try and stop spending money now, saving neeeeeds to happen :(
